What is the #I Will Campaign?

The #I Will Campaign unites communities, government, businesses, and the diaspora to tackle locally led development. Starting with period poverty in Zimbabwe, we aim to create sustainable solutions to keep girls in school and empower communities across Southern Africa.

Did You Know?

  • 72% of schoolgirls cannot afford sanitary pads.
  • 62% miss school every month because of their period.
  • Girls lose up to 22% of their school year simply because they menstruate.
  • Many are forced to use rags, cardboard, even cow dung — risking health and dignity.

Your pledge changes this.

How it Works

1) Donate

Pick a simple action you can keep — monthly, termly, or once-off.

2) Spread The Word

Take on the challenge — share your video!

Alongside your donation…

Create and share a video of yourself or your team showing support for the #IWillCampaign. Post it on social media or email it to us — we'll upload it for you.

WHY A VIDEO

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge reached 17 million people worldwide at its peak in 2014. We believe the #IWillCampaign can achieve similar scale — your video helps amplify our message.

3) Track Impact

Track progress via our website and emailed reports.

Why It Matters

Every pledge, no matter how small, contributes to a bigger movement. Together, we can ensure no girl is forced to miss school or suffer in silence because of her period.
